Tiebreak Procedures When Two Teams Have Identical Records

Cactus Foothills North Little League uses the following tiebreak procedures when two teams have identical records:

1. The tiebreak goes to the team with the best record in head-to-head play.
2. If the teams remain tied, the tiebreak goes to the team with the higher winning percentage in intradivision/intraleague games.
3. If the teams remain tied, the tiebreak goes to the team with the higher winning percentage in the last half of the season in intradivision/intraleague games.
4. If the teams remain tied, the tiebreak goes to the team with the higher winning percentage in the last half of the season plus one of the intradivision/intraleague games in the season, provided that such additional game was not a game between the two tied teams. This process will be followed game-by-game until the tie is broken.

The tiebreak procedures used by the Cactus Foothills North Little League are modeled after the procedures used in Major League Baseball.
