Introduction
This page contains the local league rules for Cactus Foothills North Little League. The local rules do not replace or supersede Little League Incorporated rules, regulations, and/or policies.

Section 1: General
| 1.01: | The rules stated herein compliment Little League’s official regulations and playing rules for baseball. Little League rules override local rules. All rules and regulations from Little League Baseball apply. |
| 1.02: | Always promote good sportsmanship. No scores should be kept. |
| 1.03: | No eating snacks or gum chewing during a game. Save your team snacks for after the game. |
Section 2: Age
| 2.01: | The Tee Ball Division is comprised of a group of youngsters ages 4 - 6 in accordance with current league age requirements. They will follow the current Official Regulations and Playing Rules for Little League International. |
Section 3: Field Positions
| 3.01: | Two defensive coaches are required on the field at all times. |
| 3.02: | All players on the roster are permitted on the playing field during their defensive half of the inning. There will be only 6 infield players with the remaining players in outfield. |
| 3.03: | Both teams shall help set up the field prior to the game and clean up of the area after the game. Home team is responsible for balls and Tee. |
Section 4: Play
| 4.01: | Time Limit: No new inning after 1 hour. |
| 4.02: | Bases are placed 50 feet apart. |
| 4.03: | Batting helmets must be worn by all batters and base runners. Face guards on helmets are not required. Hats and baseball gloves are required for players in the field. |
| 4.04: | Catcher must wear all league provide catching equipment, including a face mask with a throat protector. Insurance policy requires all male catchers to wear a cup-type protective device. |
| 4.05: | There will be no on deck batter. No player will have a bat unless at the batting tee. |
| 4.06: | No leading off, stealing, sliding or bunting is allowed. |
| 4.07: | Batter can be called out for unintentionally throwing the bat after one warning. |
| 4.08: | Batter is subject to ejection, at the discretion of the player's manager, for intentionally throwing playing equipment. Teach sportsmanship |
| 4.09: | Batting through HALF of the lineup (12 players = 6 batters; 11 players = 6 batters; 10 players = 5 batters) will constitute the end of a half-inning. This allows as many players as possible chances to bat during the one hour game. |
| 4.10: | Half innings are limited to either 3 outs by the defensive team OR the offensive team bats through HALF the lineup. |
| 4.11: | The last batter automatically hits a home run. |
| 4.12: | Any ball hit into the field of play is a "fair ball" as defined by Little League in the Official Regulations and Playing Rules. It is a "live" ball and playable at that point. Foul balls are called by the manager or coach at home plate at the tee assisting the player batting. |
| 4.13: | Base runners may only advance one base on an overthrow. Encourage players to throw to the bases. |
| 4.14: | If a batter or runner is called "out" because of a defensive play they must return to the bench. It is important for the player to understand the concept of "out". |
| 4.15: | Anti-collision rules must be observed. A defensive player may not stand on or block the bases or base paths. Please instruct the players on the proper places to play. |
| 4.16: | No strikeouts. |
| 4.17: | No protests or forfeits exist in Tee Ball. Any issues or disagreements should be directed to the Player Agent. |
| 4.18: | If cleats are worn, they shall be of the one piece rubber sole type |
