Step-by-Step Guidance for Parents
Though different, registering and certifying a player to play in Cactus Foothills North Little League is very simple. There are four major steps to the process. When complete, the player is approved to play in the League.

Differences Between Registration and Certification to Play
All players must be both registered and certified to play in Cactus Foothills North Little League. The differences between registration and certification are as follows:
- With registration, players sign-up and
League registration fees are collected.
- With certification,
eligible players have
to meet Little League residency and proof of age requirements before he
or she will be approved to play baseball or softball in our League.
Cactus Foothills North is required to re-certify players annually.
There are no exceptions.

Is the online registration process secure? |
Yes. All transmissions to/from the active.com registration site are encrypted and all information safeguarded by the online registration company. |

If I register the same day as a certification session, can I still bring the paperwork to the session that same day? |
Yes. Remember to bring the e-mail receipt indicating that you've registered your children and all other required documents to certify players with our League. |

Can I register and pay for my child/children at one of the skills evaluation sessions? |
Yes, but the League strongly recommends online registration. If for some reason, a credit card to pay online is not available, other arrangements (for ex, cash or check) can be made with the League to pay for registration during the skills evaluations. |

Can I have my child/children certified at one of the skills evaluation sessions? |
Yes, player residency and proof of age documentation is checked prior to participating in the skills evaluations. |

Can I volunteer to be a manager, coach, or help with other League functions at Player Certification? |
Yes, you may complete and hand in a volunteer and/or manager/coach application for consideration by the League. Manager, coach, and all volunteer applications are reviewed by the Cactus Foothills North Board of Directors. Volunteer and coach applications can be found on our website in the Forms and Handouts section. |

If the types of proof of residency and/or age documents I have are not on the list in the Little League proof of residency and age requirements documents, can they be used? |
No. There are several different types of documents Little League International has identified as acceptable proofs of residency and age. Documents that are not on those lists will not be accepted by Cactus Foothills North. |

What happens if it's determined during Player Certification that my family does not live within Cactus Foothills North's boundary? |
During registration, parents are required to check the Cactus Foothills North boundary map. In the event a player has been registered, but does not live within our boundary, a refund less a $25.00 processing fee will be provided. |

What happens if I do not have a receipt for registering my child/children online? |
League officials will have records of online registrations. However, those records will be downloaded approximately 2 hours before the certification session begins. Parents are required to bring the online registration receipt. If you have registered, but do not have a receipt in e-mail, please contact support at active.com. |
