Introduction

Little League is a community based, all volunteer organization dedicated to providing the best opportunity to all youths, regardless of ability or gender. As a sponsor, you are providing the children of our community an opportunity to have fun and build character.

Why Do We Need Sponsors?

Within our boundaries, Cactus Foothills North is limited to playing fields that belong to the Cave Creek Unified School District (CCUSD). However, due to the rapid growth of our communities and budget constraints, the school district does not have all of the adequate funding necessary to build new fields, enhance existing fields, or maintain the playing fields alone.

In addition, there is no [arks and recreation department in this area with the funding or facilities for our league to use like many other communities have. Therefore, it falls upon our volunteer efforts and the generosity of our sponsors to give both time and money in order to put on a successful Little League program for the community.

All teams need sponsors. In addition, sponsorships are available for fields as well (for ex, field signage, naming rights, etc)

Where Does the Money Go?

Every year, Cactus Foothills North spends the vast majority of the fees collected from player registrations to provide uniforms,  umpires and safe team equipment for all of the baseball and softball teams in the League. Funds also go towards maintenance and improvement of the fields, grounds, and other facilities such as concession stands. Given that there are several fields used, two concession stands, and other facilities used by hundreds of players and their parents, the funding needed to maintain and enhance the Little League experience for the community is significant.

The Cactus Foothills North Board of Directors has identified several areas for maintenance and/or improvement in 2008 - 2009. While CCUSD needs to review and approve all enhancements, the District will not contribute financially to these efforts. 

As a result, it is up to Cactus Foothills North's fundraising and sponsorship efforts to generate the funding necessary to improve and maintain the fields and facilities for all players in the League.

Summary of improvements and/or enhancements that sponsor funds will pay for:

• Kiwanis Field enhancements (infield/outfield upgrades, league officials and spectator area and stands upgrades, installation of breakaway bases)
• DAMS Practice Field enhancements (new outfield fencing, bench seating for players)
• Field maintenance services
• Team equipment (replacement of old and broken equipment; purchase of equipment that complies with Little League stands; repair of equipment rooms)
• League functions (Opening Day, Closing Ceremony, Game of the Week)
• Player, manager, league official, and umpire development clinics (paying for instructors, Little League rule books, operating manuals, CCUSD facility usage)
• And other important areas to provide the best experience possible for players in our community...
