Objectives for the 2008 -2009 Season and Beyond

To support Cactus Foothills North's philosophy and goals to improve the overall experience in the program, several objectives and activities have been targeted for the 2008 and 2009 season. These goals are designed to make the Cactus Foothills North league the very best it can be for players, parents, and the many volunteers that support the league.

Summarized Objectives:

• Improve player retention and grow the number of registrants in the league
• Field competitive teams in 9-10, 10-11, and Majors all-star tournaments in 2009
• Provide development clinics and opportunities to improve skill levels for all players across all divisions
• Renovate Kiwanis Field
• Work with CCUSD to renovate and better maintain fields owned by the District (DAMS, DAMS Softball)
• Be in a position to host 2009 Tournament of Champions and All-Star Tournament games
• Provide managers and coaches with the education and skills needed to effectively manage/coach players in the league across all divisions
• Convert to online registration completely for 2009
• Repair equipment storage facilities and replace/repair obsolete baseball equipment
• Implement Saturday "Game of the Week" Event
